As President, Glenne Manlig is responsible for overseeing the teams that deliver the services and solutions of over 300 communities we manage in Alberta, comprising over 25,000 homes. Directly reporting into Glenne are leaders in operations, administration, accounting and human resources.
With 15 years of property management experience, Glenne is accountable for overall associate engagement, client retention and delivering on our promise of service excellence to our board of directors through living our core values every day.
Prior to this role, Glenne was an owner and operator of a boutique property management firm in Vancouver. During his time there, he led the company to significant growth through a comprehensive reorganization of the company. Glenne brings a strategic mindset, a focus on providing operational and service excellence and a commitment to enhancing the lives of the people and the communities that he serves.
Larre believes that it is important to constantly look for ways to improve our service to our customers. She asks herself daily, “how can I wow my clients today?” By focusing on this question, following through and owning each challenge she faces, she is able to foster and build great business relationships.
Before Larre joined FirstService Residential, she was a regional director for four provinces with Herbal Magic and also an area manager with Broadstreet Properties. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan.
Andrew serves as Regional Director for FirstService Residential. In this role, he is responsible for supporting community managers in their daily operations, while also ensuring that all onsite staff are delivering exceptional service to boards of directors and residents.
Andrew possesses extensive experience with strategic planning, contract negotiation, cost containment and contract and vendor management. A leader in corporate services with the commercial real estate sector for over 30 years, he has a proven record of providing customer first solutions.
Before joining FirstService Residential, Andrew was General Manager Western Canada for a publicaly traded REIT. Andrew holds a B.Ed. from Concordia University in Montreal and is a licensed realtor and broker of record for FirstService Residential in Alberta.
Alicia brings more than 10 years of condominium management experience to her role. She formerly owned and operated one of the highest rated boutique condominium management firms in Edmonton. Alicia’s condo roots run deep as a past condo owner herself and serving as the board president for the corporation.
Alicia brings many strengths to her role and her ability to adapt and change is key to her successful career. She says it’s difficult to choose just one core value, however, Improve It rises to the top. “We can always improve and I firmly believe in progress. Improve It acknowledges our humanity and resilience and I enjoy the challenge of the journey to continually Improve It.”
Alicia’s vast experience in condominium management, and her financial and business acumen are complemented by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology. When she’s not working Alicia loves a perfect cappuccino, a refreshing nature hike and snuggling in for family movie night.
Maria’s extensive experience in facility management is complemented by past roles as portfolio manager and head of operations for large organizations, including BGIS, the Government of Canada, Shell Canada, and Hewlett Packard. With a well-rounded skill-set, Maria brings a wealth of knowledge to her role gained in industries like manufacturing, technology and retail.
While Maria is well-aligned with the values and culture at FirstService Residential, Aim High and Doing What Is Right resonate with her in particular. “Aiming high and doing what’s right puts us in the position to challenge the status quo and make informed decisions, overcome obstacles and continually find ways to better our services ― to internal and external clients.”
Maria has a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). A foodie, Maria is a certified Chef in International Bakery. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family, hiking and crafts.
Jason brings many strengths to his role, including careful listening habits that mean adapting his communication style to each individual. Whether it’s internal or external clients, he makes it his goal to fully understand and meet client needs.
His well-rounded experience includes working in the multi-family sector with different multi-family developers in Calgary. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, and CPA Alberta member, Jason is experienced in private and public accounting that includes trust accounting.
With over ten years of previous HR managerial experience in retail and sales-driven environments, Andrea has a depth of knowledge in leading highly efficient teams in both front and back office environments. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.
Avery has completed a Bachelor of Communications degree through the University of Calgary as well as a certificate in Project Management. Having previously spent over 5 years working in accounting prior to her career change to property management, Avery has a vast amount of experience in accounting and account management. She has managed up to 50 monthly business accounts and has extensive knowledge in financial analysis, budgeting, and client relations.
Avery excels in building strong working relationships with a wide range of clientele including developers, board members, contractors and individual owners. She is extremely organized, detail oriented and has a proven track record in client retention.
