In his new role with CAI, Snowden will be teaching the M-206 Financial Management course, providing community managers with the tools to understand and best manage a community association’s money. Topics include budgeting, financial planning, replacement reserves, basic investment principles, accrual and fund accounting, analyzing financial reports and using budgets/financial reports as management tools.

FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in Pennsylvania, hosted an educational roundtable focused on high-rise management best practice sharing. The three hour session was attended by board members from numerous high rise buildings in Philadelphia and several FirstService Residential High Rise Division executives and community manager associates. The board members represented buildings currently managed by FirstService Residential as well as properties currently managed by other firms or self-managed.

The corporate headquarters of FirstService Residential has announced that its subsidiary, Wentworth Property Management, has been renamed FirstService Residential. This name change is part of FirstService Residential’s national rebranding effort, which took effect on June 27, 2013.
