FirstService Residential Appointed Property Manager of 11 Hoyt Street in Downtown Brooklyn
11 Hoyt is the most recent residential condominium property completed by developer Tishman Speyer and its first in Brooklyn. Beginning in 2017, FirstService Residential provided the developer with pre-development consulting services including design drawing review for front and back of house operations and initial budget development.
More recently, FirstService Residential worked with Tishman Speyer to implement a series of health and safety protocols for building staff, residents and guests. These protocols include an enforced mask policy in all common areas, mandatory health assessment forms for all movers and guests entering the building, strict limitations on large congregations within the property and complimentary hand sanitizing stations placed strategically near high-touch areas including elevators, stairwells, and entrances.
Designed by award-winning architect Jeanne Gang, 11 Hoyt’s white, undulating façade introduces a striking new form to the Brooklyn skyline and highlights the dramatic bay windows found in most of the residences. Positioned above a dramatic porte-cochere and private motor court, residences within the 57-story tower range from studios up to four-bedroom homes with over 190 unique floor plans across the tower.
Under the direction of interior design studio Michaelis Boyd Associates, Tishman Speyer has outfitted each home in two distinct finish palettes: Classic, featuring pale wood, white and cream finishes; and Heritage, featuring dark wood, cool grey and sage green finishes. All kitchens, washrooms and living spaces are adorned with high-end Bosch appliances, smart home features including Latch door locks and Ecobee thermostats, custom fixtures and bespoke materials.

Forthcoming amenity spaces will include a private rooftop park, an outdoor sun deck with a hot tub, barbecue pods, a dog run, a fitness center with a yoga studio and a squash court, a 75-foot saltwater lap pool, coworking spaces and a Sky Lounge. The Sky Lounge is perched on the upper level of the building and offers expansive options for recreation including a library, a music rehearsal studio, a cinema, a virtual game room, a private dining room and catering kitchen, a billiards room, a fireplace lounge and breathtaking views of Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
