FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, hosted a high rise community association management best practice sharing roundtable in Washington, DC. The interactive two hour session was attended by Board members from numerous high rise buildings in Washington DC, as well as several FirstService Residential Executives and Community Managers. Board members represented communities currently managed by FirstService Residential, as well as properties currently managed by other firms, or self-managed. The informative session was moderated by FirstService Residential DC Metro President, Daniel Bauman.

The corporate headquarters of FirstService Residential has announced that its subsidiary Armstrong Management Services has been renamed FirstService Residential. This name change is part of FirstService Residential’s national rebranding effort, which took effect on June 27, 2013.
