Built from the post-modern design of well-known architect Lee Scarfone, The Pinnacle’s design earned Scarfone an award from The Florida Architect Magazine in 1976. The developers chose the name for two reasons: Pinnacle was the tallest residential building in Tampa at the time, and it sits on the highest elevation on Bayshore.
