Marla Jackson Appointed Vice President of Property Management at FirstService Residential
Chicago, Ill. (October 1, 2021) FirstService Residential is pleased to announce that it has promoted Regional Director Marla Jackson to the position of Vice President of Property Management.
Jackson has held several senior leadership positions throughout her career. Her past positions include serving as Vice President of Property Management at another Chicago-based regional management company, where she worked for more than ten years. She possesses a passion for people leadership and a strong commitment to customer service. Her insights and commitment to the profession have earned her the respect of her team members, her peers and the clients she serves.
“Marla has been a leader in our industry for more than 20 years, most recently serving as a Regional Director with FirstService Residential since 2015,” said Asa Sherwood, President. “She has an impressive depth of professional experience serving in highly visible and complex communities throughout the region.”
Jackson has served as a sitting member of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Licensing and Disciplinary Board since 2017. She also holds Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign with a focus on Urban Planning. In her new role, Marla will be overseeing and supporting a dynamic team of Regional Directors and their on-site teams.
