Jupiter, Fla.(November 29, 2018) – On Saturday, November 17th, FirstService Residential, North American’s premier property management company, partnered with Entrusted, ESPN West Palm, John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium to host the 4th Annual Charity Softball Game & KidsFest.

The event, which was held at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, raised more than $30,000 for the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at Florida Atlantic University. Over the past three years, the event has raised $70,000 for the cause.

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at FAU is a community-based program providing  consulting, training and support, at no charge, for people with autism and related disabilities, their families, employers, and the professionals and community and government agencies serving them.

“When we had the idea to organize a charity softball game a few years ago, we never imagined it would take off the way it has,” said Christopher L. Pappas, senior vice president, FirstService Residential. ”From the start, the support of the community, local businesses, and of course, the associates at FirstService Residential, has been remarkable. Together, we have raised more than $70,000 for The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at FAU. I am honored to be a part of that.”

The first game of the day was between FirstService Residential and Entrusted, with Entrusted moving on to beat the reigning champions John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning. In addition to the softball games, attendees were able to enjoy family fun day activities, including face painting, bounce houses, a petting zoo, autograph signings and other entertainment.

Plans for the 2019 Charity Softball Game are already underway, with all proceeds once again going to CARD at FAU.
